I stayed in the Albaycin area, the old Jewish quarter - a maze of tiny cobblestoned streets.
looking out at the Albaycin at night from the Alhumbra
Albaycin - view from my little balcony
Granada
Gardens of the Alhumbra
Market fruit
Ubiquitous paella
Alhumbra grandeur
Friendly folk of all ages.
Pomegranates grow all over Granada - which means pomegranate!
Granada means pomegranate and this is evident as there are not only pomegranates growing abundantly on the streets, in the gardens...but also street posts are shaped like pomegranates and pomegranate carvings adorn many buildings.
Like most of Spain...music in all streets

I LOVE GRANADA TOO!
ReplyDeleteAnd my comment to your last photo of music in all the streets - what about all the sexy men playing music in the streets?! Spain has a seriously high good looking man ratio.
WOOO!! This is SO TRUE. And everyone dresses so well.
DeleteOne day I will get there. PS the captions are a bit hard to read in that font.
